Lucid, a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its partnership with Uber to increase the number of Lucid Gravity SUVs in its robotaxi fleet from 20,000 to 35,000 units.

Additionally, Lucid has appointed a new CEO, bringing in expertise from a company specializing in mobility solutions such as elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.

This development signifies a major milestone in the collaboration between Lucid, Uber, and autonomous delivery company Nuro, initially announced in the previous year.
