Crafted by the creators of ‘The Box,’ the site initially presents a serene and professional facade, but quickly descends into absurdity. CAAAC claims to be uniting thousands of AI alignment researchers towards a single, ultimate ‘AI center singularity.’

Beneath the calming veneer lies a biting critique of AI safety advocates who, according to the website, are increasingly focused on abstract risks of AI takeover while neglecting tangible issues such as algorithmic bias and worker displacement. Machine learning researcher and technology attorney Kendra Albert praised the satire’s accuracy.

CAAAC is actively ‘recruiting’ individuals from the Bay Area willing to believe in humanity’s imminent doom at the hands of AGI within six months. The site also features a generative AI tool for creating your own AI center, and applicants for the coveted ‘AI Alignment Alignment Alignment Researcher’ role are ultimately met with a classic Rickroll, solidifying the website’s satirical nature.
