Elon Musk is doubling down on Tesla’s robotaxi ambitions, outlining plans to expand the autonomous ride-hailing service to several key US markets. During a recent earnings call, Musk highlighted the company’s intention to launch robotaxi services in Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and California. This expansion comes as Tesla continues to test its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature in Europe and China, aiming to overcome regulatory hurdles and public perception challenges associated with the technology. Beyond robotaxis, Tesla is also actively developing the next iteration of its Optimus humanoid robot. Musk addressed critics, reaffirming Tesla’s commitment to its ambitious goals, stating, “We have done what we said we were going to do… And our naysayers are sitting there with egg on their face.”
