Microsoft is expanding its Surface Laptop line with a new 5G-enabled model, set to launch on August 26th. The Surface Laptop 5G, starting at $1,799.99, is designed with business professionals in mind, offering constant connectivity and mobile hotspot capabilities. It mirrors the existing Surface Laptop 7 in design, but incorporates a 5G modem, nano SIM support, and eSIM compatibility for seamless cellular access. Powering the device is Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor, complete with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to enable Copilot Plus AI features. Microsoft has also engineered a specialized antenna system to deliver consistent 5G performance while maintaining the sleek Surface aesthetic. This new model provides access to the latest advancements in Surface Laptop and Pro technology with the added benefit of ubiquitous connectivity.
