Forget tedious clicking and dragging – users can now create presentations, resize images, populate templates, and perform a variety of other design tasks within Canva simply by interacting with Claude. The integration also allows users to search for keywords within Canva documents and generate summaries using Claude’s AI prowess. This seamless connection is facilitated by Canva’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), ensuring secure access to user content. Claude marks the first AI assistant to utilize MCP for Canva design workflows, following a recent announcement of a similar integration with Figma. The partnership signals a significant shift towards AI-first workflows, blending creative expression with enhanced productivity. To access this feature, users will need active subscriptions to both Canva and Claude.
