Notably, the open models DeepSeek and GLM demonstrated equivalent quality to their top-tier counterparts, suggesting that they can be viable alternatives for SVG generation tasks.

However, a significant disparity in costs was observed, with GPT 5.5 Pro being substantially more expensive at around $2, while Gemini and Opus are priced at $0.2 and $0.1, respectively.

In contrast, DeepSeek and GLM offer significantly lower costs, at $0.019 and $0.021, respectively, making them 10-15 times more affordable than Gemini and Opus, and highlighting the potential for cost savings with open models.
