Microsoft is bringing the power of its Xbox Gaming Copilot to Windows 11’s Game Bar, offering a new layer of AI-powered assistance for gamers. Previously available for testing on iOS and Android, the Gaming Copilot is now accessible in preview form to Xbox Insiders via the Game Bar, with future enhancements anticipated for upcoming Xbox Ally handheld devices.

Microsoft envisions the Gaming Copilot as a user-centric tool that analyzes the game being played and Xbox activity to provide tailored support. Players can leverage the Copilot to request help, track their achievements, and review their gaming history.

Integrated as a widget within the Game Bar, the Gaming Copilot boasts a voice mode for convenient, hands-free operation. Its ability to interpret game context from screenshots opens the door for intelligent assistance, suggesting a potential evolution towards an AI gaming coach.

Currently, this early preview is restricted to specific regions and is exclusively available in English.
