Initial assessments reveal a significant bias toward conservative news outlets. The search engine, which utilizes Perplexity’s technology, demonstrably favors sources such as Fox News, The Washington Times, and The Federalist in its search results. This preference raises questions about whether the platform is prioritizing media aligned with Trump’s political views. Although the AI-generated summaries themselves aren’t always complimentary to Trump, the heavy reliance on right-leaning sources is fueling debate regarding Truth Social’s dedication to providing unbiased internet access. Currently in beta, Truth Search AI is expected to evolve based on user input. However, experts are already advising users to exercise caution when utilizing the new AI search tool.
