Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, and Google cofounder Sergey Brin are among the inaugural members of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
The panel, tasked with shaping AI policy, will initially consist of 13 members, with the potential to expand to 24. David Sacks, Trump’s AI and crypto czar, and White House tech advisor Michael Kratsios will co-chair the panel.
According to the White House, PCAST will provide counsel to the President on matters related to science, technology, education, and innovation policy, aiming to drive progress in these fields.
