Thinking Machines Data Science has forged a partnership with OpenAI to accelerate the adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions for businesses across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, making Thinking Machines the first officially recognized Services Partner for OpenAI in APAC.
The partnership will focus on delivering a comprehensive suite of services, including executive training on ChatGPT Enterprise, assistance in developing tailored AI applications, and strategic guidance on seamlessly integrating AI into core operational processes. Stephanie Sy, Founder and CEO of Thinking Machines, highlighted the critical need for organizations to cultivate clear leadership alignment, redesign existing workflows, and invest in workforce skill development to achieve successful and scalable AI deployments.
Thinking Machines advocates for a “human-in-command” approach, where human expertise is leveraged for complex judgment and handling exceptions, while AI systems manage routine and repetitive tasks. The company also emphasizes the importance of developing agentic AI solutions with robust safety measures and governance frameworks to foster trust and ensure responsible AI usage. The initial phase of the partnership will concentrate on Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand, with plans to expand its reach throughout the broader APAC region in the future.
