A clandestine conference in New Orleans brought together approximately 90 influential figures from diverse backgrounds to discuss the implications of artificial intelligence.

The unlikely gathering, held at a Marriott hotel in early January, included church leaders, conservative academics, labor union representatives, progressive power brokers, and MAGA talking heads, all united by their interest in AI.

The event was so secretive that attendees were unaware of the other guests until they arrived at the meeting.

The organizers, comprised of AI thought leaders, hoped that the diverse group could engage in productive discussions without conflict.
