Samsung is poised to unveil further details about its highly anticipated Project Moohan mixed reality headset at the ‘Worlds Wide Open’ Galaxy event scheduled for October 21st. This move intensifies competition in the XR space, especially with anticipation growing around Apple’s potential next-generation Vision Pro and possible smart glasses initiative. The Moohan headset will leverage Android XR, a collaborative mixed reality platform forged by Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm. The initiative will “bring AI to the center of immersive, everyday experiences.” The launch comes as the mixed reality landscape heats up with Apple expected to make announcements regarding updated VR technology.
