Microsoft’s Copilot AI is expanding its reach beyond PCs and mobile devices, now finding a home within Samsung’s 2025 range of smart TVs and monitors. This integration allows users to leverage Copilot’s capabilities for a variety of tasks, including receiving personalized movie recommendations, catching up on episode summaries, and getting answers to general inquiries – all directly from their television. Copilot manifests as a visually engaging ‘opalescent blob’ on the screen, responding to user commands issued via voice or remote control. By logging into their Microsoft account, users can unlock a more tailored experience, enabling Copilot to draw upon past interactions and individual preferences to provide even more relevant and helpful assistance. The rollout will encompass a broad spectrum of Samsung’s latest displays, including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, and The Frame TV models, along with the M7, M8, and M9 series of smart monitors. Following the Samsung launch, Microsoft aims to extend Copilot’s availability to LG televisions in the near future.
