Ring has canceled its planned integration with Flock Safety, a surveillance technology company that collaborates with law enforcement agencies, due to intense backlash. The decision was made after a thorough review, which determined that the integration would require more time and resources than initially anticipated.

In a statement, Ring announced that the joint decision to cancel the integration was made to prioritize its current partnerships. Fortunately, the integration never launched, and as a result, no Ring customer videos were shared with Flock Safety.
