Users are reporting perceived downgrades compared to models like GPT-4o, specifically highlighting the removal of model choices, limitations in creative writing, reduced context window sizes, and more restrictive usage policies. The analysis also points to a decline in user trust, fueled by perceived communication failures from OpenAI regarding undocumented alterations to the model’s functionalities.
