In a move to bolster its film and television production capabilities, Netflix has acquired InterPositive, an AI-powered startup co-founded by acclaimed actor Ben Affleck.

As part of the deal, InterPositive’s team of 16 engineers and researchers will join Netflix, bringing their expertise in AI-driven production tools to the streaming giant. Affleck will take on a senior advisory role, leveraging his industry insights to inform Netflix’s strategic decisions.

Affleck’s venture into the tech space was sparked by the growing potential of AI in production, leading him to launch InterPositive in 2022. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in the intersection of technology and entertainment.
