Mistral AI is leveling up its chatbot, Le Chat, with a suite of new features designed to enhance user experience and expand its capabilities. The update introduces voice recognition, advanced research tools, and smoother conversation flows, all aimed at making Le Chat a more versatile and helpful AI assistant.
The newly unveiled ‘Deep Research’ mode empowers users to tackle complex topics with ease. It dissects questions, identifies reliable sources, and compiles structured reports, streamlining the research process. For hands-free interaction, the ‘Vocal’ mode leverages Mistral AI’s Voxtral voice model, enabling natural, low-latency voice conversations. Furthermore, the ‘Think’ mode utilizes Mistral AI’s Magistral reasoning model to deliver clear, insightful responses in multiple languages.
Organization is also getting a boost with the ‘Projects’ feature, allowing users to neatly organize chats into dedicated folders. Finally, a collaboration with Black Forest Labs integrates sophisticated image editing capabilities directly into Le Chat. All of these enhancements are currently available on both the web and mobile app versions of Le Chat.
