Software development giant JetBrains has open-sourced Mellum, their first AI model designed for code generation. Mellum, which saw integration into JetBrains’ development tools last year, is now available on the Hugging Face platform. Trained on a massive dataset of over 4 trillion tokens, this release promises to give developers more powerful coding assistance and automation capabilities.
