CFO Anat Ashkenazi attributed this surge in investment to robust cloud customer demand. The quarter saw Google Search revenue reach $54.1 billion. Furthermore, Pichai announced that the Gemini app boasts 450 million monthly active users, experiencing substantial growth in daily requests. The company’s recent I/O developer conference showcased a range of AI-centric advancements, including the launch of AI Mode for Search and enhancements to its video and image generation capabilities.
