Mozilla’s Firefox browser for iOS is getting a shake-up with a new AI-powered summarization feature. iPhone users can now simply shake their device to instantly generate a concise summary of the web page they’re currently viewing. This functionality leverages Apple’s on-device AI for newer iPhone models, while older devices rely on Mozilla’s cloud-based AI solution. Alternatively, users can access the summary via a dedicated button conveniently located within the address bar. The ‘Shake to Summarize’ feature is currently rolling out in the US and is exclusively available in English.
