Bose is leveling up its audio game with the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds and refreshed SoundLink speakers. The QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) earbuds, priced at $299 and arriving later this summer, boast enhanced adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) powered by a new AI algorithm. This promises smoother and more subtle adjustments to noise cancellation, reacting to sudden sounds like sirens without jarring audio disruption.

Building on the personalized audio calibration of the original, the Ultra earbuds tailor ANC and sound to individual ear shapes. Call quality also gets a boost thanks to technology borrowed from hearing aids, effectively minimizing background noise in windy or noisy environments. Battery life remains at 24 hours with the wireless charging case.

Beyond the earbuds, Bose is also refreshing its SoundLink lineup. The SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) speaker, retailing for $129, doubles battery life to 12 hours and upgrades to USB-C charging. It also gains clearer high-frequency sound and app compatibility. For those seeking a premium portable speaker, the new $269 SoundLink Plus features a subwoofer, tweeter, passive radiators, an IP67 waterproof rating, and up to 20 hours of battery life. These latest audio offerings from Bose will be available later this summer, ushering in an era of immersive and adaptable sound experiences.
