Google is rolling out its Gemini AI assistant to Android Auto, introducing a new level of conversational AI to the in-car experience. Drivers can now leverage natural language voice commands powered by Gemini to manage navigation, send messages, and perform other tasks hands-free. Users can initiate Gemini through voice activation or a dedicated button press. A key limitation: Gemini’s integration will not extend to Apple CarPlay users.
