Adobe has officially launched a dedicated mobile app for its Firefly generative AI suite, bringing the power of AI-driven content creation to iPhone and Android devices. The new app empowers users to effortlessly generate images and videos from simple text prompts, as well as explore innovative AI-powered photo editing capabilities. Key features include direct access to text-to-image, text-to-video, and image-to-video tools, alongside Adobe’s popular Generative Fill and Generative Expand functionalities. The app also opens the door to experimenting with third-party AI models like Google’s Imagen and Veo, and OpenAI’s image generator. All creations within the app seamlessly synchronize with the user’s Creative Cloud account, ensuring accessibility across devices. Furthermore, Adobe is expanding the video capabilities of its Firefly Boards platform, enabling users to remix existing video clips and generate entirely new footage using a combination of Adobe’s own tools and third-party AI engines.
