Acer is set to challenge the dominance of the MacBook Air with its new Swift Edge 14 AI laptop, unveiled at Computex 2025. Alongside the gaming-focused Predator Triton 14 AI, the Swift Edge 14 AI represents Acer’s push into AI-enhanced computing. The company is leveraging a diverse range of processors from Intel, AMD, Nvidia, and Qualcomm (Snapdragon X in some models) to power these devices. The Swift Edge 14 AI is a Copilot Plus PC, boasting Intel’s Lunar Lake processor, a vibrant OLED display, up to 32GB of RAM, and a spacious 1TB SSD – all packaged in a remarkably slim and lightweight design. Acer promises to release US pricing and availability information closer to the official launch date.
