Character.AI is rolling out a new age assurance model to restrict access for users under 18. The company will use chat history and data to estimate user age, initially placing limitations on existing accounts and ultimately banning minors completely by November 25th. This move aims to create a safer and more appropriate environment for all users of the AI character platform.
