Fujifilm has announced the X-T30 III, the newest addition to its entry-level interchangeable lens camera lineup. While keeping the compact form factor and 26.1MP sensor of its predecessor, the X-T30 III receives a significant upgrade with Fujifilm’s powerful X-Processor 5, unlocking a range of enhanced features.
A prominent addition is the Film Simulation dial, offering users instant access to 20 distinct film simulations, including a variety of monochrome options. The dial also provides three custom slots for saving personalized looks.
The camera now boasts impressive video capabilities, recording 10-bit 6.2K video at up to 30fps. Users can also capture 4K footage at up to 60fps and stunning slow-motion footage at 240fps in 1080p. Although in-body image stabilization is absent, the X-T30 III delivers improved autofocus performance and advanced AI-powered subject detection, capable of recognizing animals, birds, cars, trains, insects, airplanes, and drones.
Battery life has been improved, now offering up to 425 shots when using Economy Mode. The X-T30 III also retains the convenient pop-up flash and offers direct connectivity to Fujifilm’s Instax Link printers for instant photo printing.
The Fujifilm X-T30 III is currently available for pre-order with a starting price of $999.95 (body only).
