Google Fi is boosting its service with a suite of new features, headlined by AI-driven noise cancellation and improved web messaging. Subscribers can look forward to clearer calls, thanks to AI algorithms that automatically filter out distracting background noise, even when calling older phones or landlines. Users will also have access to a web interface that now fully supports RCS messaging, allowing for richer communication through high-resolution photos and videos, even when your phone is out of reach. This RCS functionality will be available in early December. Furthermore, Google Fi is expanding its Wi-Fi Auto Connect Plus feature to more locations, providing secure and reliable Wi-Fi connectivity in places like shopping malls and airports, although this feature is currently limited to Pixel 5a and newer devices. The Google Fi app itself is getting smarter too, with AI-generated billing summaries designed to make it easier to understand charges, plan adjustments, and month-over-month cost variations. Finally, new subscribers can take advantage of a limited-time offer of 50% off for 15 months on Unlimited Essentials or Unlimited Standard plans.
