Microsoft is pushing forward with its vision of an AI-driven future for Windows, embedding Copilot deeper into the operating system. The tech giant aims to transform every Windows 11 PC into an ‘AI PC,’ primarily controlled through voice commands and powered by Copilot’s expanded capabilities.
Key additions to Windows 11 include voice activation using “Hey, Copilot!” for hands-free interaction. Copilot Vision will allow the AI assistant to analyze screen content and provide context-aware assistance with various applications and tasks. Furthermore, the company is testing Copilot Actions, enabling the AI to directly execute commands within the operating system, like image editing.
As reported by The Verge, Microsoft is aware of the need to build user trust in these new AI features, particularly in light of recent privacy concerns. To address this, the company is launching a television advertising campaign to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the AI-powered Windows experience.
