Microsoft is enhancing its Copilot app for Windows, empowering users to generate Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs directly within the chat interface. In a move mirroring OpenAI’s ChatGPT integrations, Copilot will also connect to Outlook or Gmail accounts, granting access to valuable inbox data like invoices and contact details. This integration promises streamlined workflows and enhanced productivity. The updated Copilot is currently being rolled out to Windows Insiders for testing and feedback.
