Sony is rolling out a significant software update for its premium WH-1000XM6 and WF-1000XM5 headphones. The update introduces highly anticipated features including audio sharing through Bluetooth LE Audio’s Auracast, allowing users to easily listen with friends or create personalized broadcasts. In addition, the update integrates Google’s Gemini Live, offering a conversational AI assistant experience directly within the headphones. Beyond these headline features, the update also brings improved system software security and enhanced support for digital assistants and head tracking capabilities utilizing Bluetooth LE Audio.
