Anthropic’s AI assistant, Claude, has expanded its app connectors to include a wide range of personal services, such as Spotify, Uber Eats, and TurboTax. This move builds upon Claude’s existing support for work-related apps like Microsoft and introduces new connections for apps focused on everyday activities like hiking, grocery shopping, and travel planning.
With these new connectors, Claude users can now access apps like Audible, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, and many others directly within conversations. For instance, users can ask Claude for hiking recommendations and receive suggestions from AllTrails, making for a more seamless and integrated experience.
This development is part of Anthropic’s ongoing effort to enhance Claude’s capabilities, aiming to make it a more versatile and user-friendly AI assistant. The integration of apps like Spotify follows similar moves by other AI services, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, further bridging the gap between AI functionality and everyday user needs.
