Meta is rolling out cutting-edge scam detection tools to strengthen the security of Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp accounts. These new features are designed to alert users to potential suspicious activities before they interact with them, such as unrecognized friend requests and device linking notifications.

WhatsApp users will now receive warnings when the system detects red flags in the behavioral signals for device linking requests, making it more difficult for scammers to link other WhatsApp accounts to their device.

These enhancements aim to protect users from scams by identifying and flagging suspicious behavior, providing an additional layer of security for Meta’s platforms.
